Credentials & Compliance
When choosing a solar company in the Philippines, credentials matter. DOE accreditation, PCAB licensing, and PEE-signed documentation are not optional — they are legal requirements for a compliant solar installation.
DOE-Accredited Solar EPC
Ecoplus Solar Inc. holds Department of Energy accreditation as a solar Engineering, Procurement, and Construction contractor — the baseline credential required for legally compliant solar installation in the Philippines.
PCAB-Licensed Contractor
Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) licensing is a legal requirement for commercial solar construction. Without it, a contractor cannot legally execute a commercial installation regardless of technical competence.
PRC-Licensed Electricians & PEEs
All Ecoplus Solar installations are executed by PRC-licensed electricians. Electrical plans are signed by a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) — mandatory for LGU permits and distribution utility net metering applications.

Philippine Net Metering — 2026 Policy Update

LGUs must now issue electrical permits in 3 working days and CFEIs in 7 working days. All distribution utilities must approve net metering applications within 10 working days. The commercial and industrial net metering cap was raised from 100 kW to 1 MW.
📅 February 2026 — Multi-Site Net Metering Reform
Businesses and property owners can now share solar energy credits across multiple electricity accounts within the same distribution utility service area from a single installation — a major change for commercial clients with multiple properties.
